Guided walk with a tree professional. Learn about management and habitat for a variety of rare species. Martin Hall, Senior Environment Manager at Canterbury City Council, will guide you around this beautiful ancient woodland, describing the wildlife which lives there. You’ll also learn about the management practices needed to maintain the woodland as habitat for a variety of rare species. The tour should take about one to one and a half hours. Larkey Valley Wood car park, Cockering Road, Chartham ///scarcely.waters.guilty Please note: uneven, sloped paths in places so may be unsuitable for those with reduced mobility. Part of National Tree Week 2026.
