Maggie's in Cardiff Cancer in the Workplace Workshop November 2026

A workshop designed to help you support your colleagues should they receive a cancer diagnosis. A positive return to work can have a significant role in recovery from cancer. There are over 500,000 people with cancer working across the UK. This figure is expected to double by 2030 as more people survive a diagnosis of cancer. In seeking to return to work, employees, their managers and colleagues each face different and complex challenges that can have a significant impact in the workplace. Maggie’s offers a workshop to help your managers support colleagues affected by cancer. The workshops are facilitated by Maggie’s expert staff and are tailored to meet the needs of your workforce. Workshop details: 15:00-17:00, November 11th 2026. Maggie's Cardiff The Chris McGuigan Building, Velindre Cancer Centre Velindre Road Whitchurch, Cardiff CF14 2TQ Booking is free, but as a charity we would be hugely grateful if you would consider making a donation to our centre. Workshop numbers are limited to allow for group discussion around specific topics. Parking on the Velindre site is very limited and we do not have our own Maggie's car park.
