St Oscar Romero Sixth Form Open Evening & Morning Tours - November 2026

Get ready to explore St Oscar Romero Sixth Form and all it has to offer at our Open Evening on 19th November 6pm to 8pm and Morning Tours! At St Oscar Romero, our aim is simple: we want to be the best Sixth Form in England. This means that we can, 'hand on heart', say that our students will get a better deal than if they attended another college. Our Sixth Form at St Oscar Romero opened in September 2024 and we welcomed our third set of students in September 2026. We now have a thriving, hardworking and happy community of over 170 students. At Romero's Sixth Form we base our provision on our 3 Guiding Principles: Academic Excellence: Students will be expertly taught, by outstanding subject specialists, in average class sizes of under 10, with more lesson time and regular forensic assessment. Studying for your A-Levels will define your future: at St Oscar Romero's we are passionate about providing you with the best education possible, guiding you to becoming successful and independent learners. Students will achieve better post 16 outcomes than if they attended any other organisation. Outstanding Pastoral Care: Students will be 'known and loved'. We count in 1s at Romero's. Every student is known by name, cared for by a form tutor they see daily, and supported by a dedicated Sixth Form team. The post 16 years are tough and we will walk with our students every step of the way. Spiritual Flourishing: We work hard at Romero's but we also insist our students play hard too and firmly believe it's about more than grades. Wednesday afternoon is timetabled Enrichment, meaning no lessons. Our students lead and serve in our community, raising thousands of pounds for charity. Every child has limitless potential and we aim for each of them to fulfil this at Romero's. We offer an ambitious curriculum where students not only have the opportunity to study a range of courses but also have the opportunity through our enrichment programme to develop a holistic character education which will prepare them for the rigour and challenges of life as they leave St Romero's. The step up to Sixth Form is significant and very exciting. It is important to us that when you leave us in Year 13, you not only leave with the very best exam results, but also with the moral, spiritual and social skills you need to take your place in an ever-changing world. I hope our prospectus gives you a taste of what St Oscar Romero Sixth Form life is all about but the best way to fully appreciate all that we can offer is to come for a visit and see us in action at either our Open Evening or one of the Open Morning Tours.
