An offer that cannot be refused. Steve Walwyn leads Leamington's musical aristocracy in another perfect night of good-time blues and boogie They may have been in Dr Feelgood and The Specials, but they're back home now. The Leamington Blues Mafia – featuring: • Nick Rowbotham Vocals/Harmonica • Steve Walwyn Guitar/Vocals • Horace Panter Bass • Andy Bentley Drums "In the mists of time before Autotune and iPads on music stands was The Blues. There were The Moodoos, The Sons of Sin and The Rocking Chair Blues Band. Rumour has it that John Lee Hooker once played Leamington Town Hall. Legendary Monday night sessions at The Crown Hotel birthed a scene that still reverberates today. Not many of those players are left. Those that are still dig deep and remain cornerstones of the town’s musical heritage. If they make you an offer - you’d be wise not to refuse…" Horace Panter 2025
