Join The Autism & ADHD Advocates CIC for a relaxed and welcoming Homeschooling Breakfast Club at Stoke Heath Community Centre in Coventry. Our sessions bring home-educating families together, giving younger children opportunities to socialise and build friendships while parents and carers enjoy breakfast, connect with others and access specialist support. Who is it for? Families with younger home-educated children, including children who are neurodivergent or have additional needs. Whether you're already home educating, just starting out or exploring your options, you're welcome. Support for parents and carers Parents and carers have the opportunity to speak directly with Sarah-Jane McGarry, Neurodiversity and Executive Function Specialist and founder of The Autism & ADHD Advocates CIC. Ask questions, share experiences and gain practical guidance on topics including: • Autism, ADHD and neurodivergence • Executive functioning and everyday challenges • Sensory processing and emotional regulation • Understanding emotions and alexithymia • Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) • Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) • Anxiety, SEND and supporting learning at home There is no formal presentation or set agenda. Conversations are guided by the questions and challenges families bring. Social opportunities for children Children can enjoy a relaxed environment with opportunities for: • Board games and Connect Four • Creative activities • Cooperative games and problem-solving • Making friends and developing confidence • Socialising without the pressures of a formal classroom When and where? First session: Tuesday 10 November 2026 Time: 9:15am–11:00am Venue: Stoke Heath Community Centre, Coventry Cost: £6.50 for one child and accompanying adult, including breakfast for both.
