Paperbird bring those spine-tingling harmonies, Chäste takes us somewhere darker and more atmospheric, Eleonora Claps adds soulful songwriting with a jazz twist, and Jack Hopkinson delivers Americana and folk with real heart. Nov 9th lineup FEATURE ARTIST: Paperbird Three voices. Three musical personalities. One distinctive sound. Paperbird are a Lichfield-based acoustic trio featuring Claudia “Cloudy” Galvez, Carrieann Hathaway and Global Award-winning singer-songwriter Ben Drummond. Blending contemporary folk, Americana, neo-soul and Latin influences, Paperbird create a captivating sound characterised by intricate acoustic arrangements and spellbinding, interwoven vocal harmonies. The trio bring together a wealth of musical experience. Drummond has shared stages with legends including Eric Clapton, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jamiroquai, alongside 21 years curating and hosting original live music at Birmingham’s iconic Jam House. Cloudy’s songwriting has attracted recognition from BBC Introducing and Rolling Stone India, while her Ripple Music Group champions independent artists. Carrieann contributes a soulful, heartfelt approach to songwriting, drawing inspiration from Tracy Chapman, Eva Cassidy and Annie Lennox. United by a shared passion for original music, creative expression and human connection, three distinctive musical personalities create something greater than the sum of their parts. Paperbird are embarking on a UK tour while writing and recording their debut EP, due for release in early 2027. Chäste Chäste is a singer-songwriter based in the Midlands, whose music blends elements of alternative folk with electronica and post-rock. His musical mission is to weave together the familiar conventions of the folk songwriting tradition with the isolating textures of electronica and post-rock, crafting an at once beautiful and intimate yet disarmingly haunting and plaintive experience for the listener. He released his first single, Chérubin, in November 2025, and his set to release his debut EP, Music for Nightdriving, in November, with its lead single, Nightdriving, releasing shortly before.’ Eleonora Claps Singer-songwriter and drummer Eleonora Claps was born in Milano, Italy. She started playing drums in her teenage years, and was soon joining pop and rock bands on the city’s scene, recording in studio and performing live on stages across the country and abroad. In 2007, she moved to London and was inspired to take on new challenges – studying jazz singing amongst them. Joining open mics around town was her first approach to performing as a singer. Having built a repertoire, including her own original material, she started gigging in London and across the country. Her first album “Stars” (including originals as well as jazzy arrangements of pop tunes by Prefab Sprout, Cyndi Lauper, and Simply Red amongst others) was released in 2015, garnering support on UK press and radios. Her second album “10pm” (March 2024) is a collection of 10 original songs, featuring Eleonora as a singer and drummer, with John Crawford on piano and Andy Hamill on bass. A reflection on the speed and challenges of modern life, infused with nostalgia and memories of the past, the songs on Eleonora’s new album are a fitting continuation of a journey started with her debut album.
