Retrograde Astrology – When the Planets Don’t Do What They Should

Discover what retrograde planets really mean and how they may affect communication, relationships, motivation and personal growth. Retrograde Astrology When the planets appear to change direction, life can feel as though it has changed direction too. A planet in retrograde is not physically moving backwards. It is an apparent change of motion viewed from Earth, but astrologically it is traditionally associated with review, reflection, delays, repetition and the return of unfinished matters. This practical workshop explores what retrograde periods may mean for us and how to work with them more consciously rather than fearing them. During the workshop we’ll explore: • What retrograde motion actually is • The difference between natal and transiting retrogrades • Why Mercury retrograde receives so much attention • How Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the outer planets may affect different areas of life • Communication, relationships, motivation, work and personal growth during retrograde periods • How retrogrades can bring old situations, people and patterns back for review • The value of slowing down, reflecting, revising and completing unfinished business • How to identify retrograde planets in an astrology chart • Practical ways to plan and make decisions during retrograde periods • Moving beyond fear-based astrology and using planetary cycles for greater self-awareness No previous knowledge of astrology is needed. Whether you are completely new or already exploring your birth chart, you will leave with a clearer understanding of retrograde planets and how to work with their energy in everyday life.
