On November 14th, let’s experiment with shapes, patterns and prints as we turn simple stamps into pictures! Stamping Workshop 🖐️🎨 On November 14th, let’s experiment with shapes, patterns and prints as we turn simple stamps into pictures! In this hands-on workshop, children aged 4–11 will explore the playful possibilities of stamping, using handmade foam shape stamps to create their own colourful artworks. We’ll look at how simple shapes can be combined, repeated, rotated and layered to build up pictures and patterns. Think of the stamps as little building blocks for making art — a circle, a triangle or a wiggly shape can become part of something completely new when you start putting them together. Children can experiment with colour, repetition, pattern and composition, discovering how a collection of simple printed shapes can grow into a picture, character, landscape or something entirely unexpected. Younger children will be supported with ideas and simple starting points, while older children can explore more complex combinations and develop their own printed designs. There’s no right or wrong way to stamp — just choose a shape, make a mark and see where it takes you! No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to get creative. 14 NOVEMBER · AGES 4–11 10:00am–11:30am £12 per child (plus booking fee) All materials are provided.
