Systemic and Family Constellations Workshop

A Family Constellations Workshop provides an opportunity to explore the dynamics of family systems and uncover hidden patterns. Family Constellations Workshop Family and systemic constellations create a safe and confidential space where personal issues can be explored. In just one session, it can help to reveal and shift unconscious intergenerational dynamics that silently play in the background, stirring the course of our lives. Sometimes the smallest of movements in the system can help to restore the flow of love among its members and transform our lives for the better. Here is an article in the BACP journal that provides some context and vignettes. FACILITATOR Maria has 13 years of experience in holding groups for holistic workshops and retreats. She is a yoga teacher, university lecturer, and visual artist. She graduated from the Centre for Systemic Constellations, the oldest institution in the UK for Family Constellations. To learn more about Maria's training and background, click visit www.the11thhouse.co.uk USEFUL INFO There are only four 'issue holder' tickets and each constellation will usually last 20-60 min. All participants are invited to reflect on a personal issue that is heavy on their heart. On rare occasions, the facilitator may offer representatives the opportunity to constellate a personal issue, if there is extra time available. In any case, when setting an intention for the day often, representatives find answers while supporting other people's constellations. Because we are all interconnected, everyone will be moved in some way by each constellation. Please note, it is essential that those booking 'issue holder' tickets are committed to being honest and vulnerable in this work. It is not unusual that a client comes to this work wanting to investigate one issue and finds himself/herself dealing with something different from what they expected. This might require more exposure and vulnerability than the client had initially intended. Providing false feedback will hinder the process. A client can choose to stop the constellation at any point, if the material revealed becomes overwhelming but there will be no refund. It is recommended that you only book if you are in good mental health and willing to keep an open mind to whatever the field might reveal. Purchasing an issue-holder place as a gift is not recommended unless the person is already familiar with Family Constellation work and has clearly expressed a wish to explore a personal issue. The role of the issue holder requires a genuine willingness to be vulnerable and open, so the process can unfold without resistance. If you would like to gift someone their first experience of Family Constellations, we kindly ask that you book a representative place for them instead. DISCLAIMER This workshop is not a substitute for personal therapy and it is not suitable if you have a history of psychosis, or an otherwise generally fragile mental health. If required, Maria can offer 1:1 constellation sessions online and/or a de-brief after the workshop (these can be booked separately). However, the facilitator will not be able to offer ongoing counselling and therefore you are expected to process what emerges on your own or with a counsellor/ psychotherapist. ----------------------------------------- Lastly, Maria is committed to making the work as accessible as possible.
