Peri Mayhem Book Launch: The Rage, the Sweat and the Patches

An evening of straight talk, shared stories and laughter as Marie McLaughlin launches her new book on the reality of perimenopause. Join me in Buncrana for the official launch of The Rage, the Sweat and the Patches — a woman’s guide to perimenopause: unfiltered, unapologetic, and maybe a little bit moist. This won’t be a formal sit-down-and-be-quiet kind of book launch. The whole idea behind Peri Mayhem is to make conversations about perimenopause more open, more honest and a lot less awkward; and that’s exactly what I want this evening to feel like. We’ll talk about the reality of perimenopause, the chaos it can bring to everyday life, relationships and work, and why so many women reach this stage wondering why nobody warned them. There’ll be plenty of humour, straight talking, tea, coffee and biscuits, along with an opportunity to meet some brilliant local wellbeing businesses who’ll be joining us on the night. They’ve also kindly donated prizes, so every guest will be entered into our free prize draw on arrival. You’ll have the chance to meet me, have your book signed and personalised, browse the local businesses, chat, ask questions and simply enjoy an evening with other people who completely understand that sometimes you just have to laugh at the mayhem.
