The Hallowe'en Trail Returns! Get ready for a day of autumn adventure, magical mischief and Halloween fun at Falkland Palace! 🎃 The Secret of the Scarecrow: Falkland Palace Halloween Trail 2026 When you arrive, head straight to our gift shop to pick up your trail sheet and get started on your adventure! Welcome to our Halloween Trail! Follow the trail around the gardens, find the 10 scarecrows hiding amongst the autumn leaves and tick them off your trail sheet. Can you work out what the missing scarecrow was scared of and uncover The Secret of the Scarecrow? And once you’ve solved the mystery, there’s a spooktacular prize waiting for you! Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and make your visit extra spooky! The trail is entirely outdoors, so wrap up warm and be prepared for some autumn weather. Event Details 📅 Monday 5th October- Saturday 31st October ⏰ The trail is open 11am–5pm daily. Arrive anytime, last admission into the trail is 3:30pm. 🎃 Child Trail Ticket: £5 - Includes your trail sheet and a spooktacular prize at the end! 🍂 Adult Helper: £2 - This is the adult’s entry fee into the gardens - inc members. 🎟️ Tickets can be pre-booked in advance or purchased on the door. Usual admission applies for entry into Falkland Palace itself. Please see the Falkland Palace website for full Palace admission information. 👶 A little note for our smallest visitors Babies and children under 18 months do not need a ticket. However, if they do not have a trail ticket, they will not receive a trail sheet or prize. Tickets can be bought for them if they wish to take home a prize. Prizes are suitable for all. So come along, explore the gardens, hunt for scarecrows, celebrate the apple harvest and enjoy a wonderfully autumnal day at Falkland Palace.
