Hope City Church Light Party Looking for a fun, positive, and bright alternative for your family this October? Join us at Hope City Church for our community Light Party! We know that not everyone enjoys the scary themes often found at this time of year. That’s why we are opening our doors to families in our church, local neighbourhood, and wider community for a fantastic evening focused entirely on light, joy, and wholesome fun! • Ages: Perfectly tailored for children up to age 13, but teenagers are very welcome to join the family too! • Admission: Just £5 per family ticket (covers up to 2 adults and 2 children). What’s On? We are filling the night with glowing lights and tons of activities to keep the kids entertained: • Sonar Zone Disco: Get ready to dance the night away with an amazing interactive disco hosted by Sonar Zone! • Crafts & Tattoos: Get creative with fun arts and crafts, plus cool temporary tattoos. • Party Games: Exciting games with plenty of laughter for all ages. • Light Devotional: A short, uplifting time together celebrating hope and light. Bring your family, bring your friends, and come ready to shine bright! Spaces are limited, so book your family ticket today to secure your spot. So book your tickets no later than midnight on Saturday 24th October 2026!!! A True Family Event (Parents, Stay & Play!) Please note that this is a parent-supervised event, so adults must remain with their children throughout the evening to help them have the best time possible. But don't worry—you won't just be sitting on the sidelines! We want our parents to be part of the magic. We are looking for awesome parent volunteers to join the team and help bring the fun to life. It takes a village to shine this bright, and we need your help to fill these specific spots: • The Refreshment Crew (min. 2 Volunteers): Help serve up the drinks, snacks, and smiles at the catering station. • Craft Station Champions (2 Volunteers per table): Help kids get stuck into their creations and guide them through the activities. • Games Table Legends (2 Volunteers per table): Keep the energy high, run the games, and cheer the kids on. • Disco Assistants: Help the Sonar Zone team keep the dance floor glowing shaking and moving, whilst being mindful of everyone's safety. • Supervise / Help with Set up and Wrap Up: Help to supervise the event from start to finish to ensure safety and wellbeing of all attendees, this includes set up, unloading vehicles / supplies, set up main hall and with packing up, cleaning and tidying up etc. (Set up: 4:30pm - 5:50pm) and (Wrap Up: 7:30pm - 8:30pm). We want to make this night glow as bright as possible, and we need your help to do it! We are inviting all our amazing kids (and enthusiastic parents!) to get creative and dress up for the night. Think bright, think cheerful, and think glowing! Here are some fun outfit ideas to get you started: • Autumn Festival Fun: Dress up in beautiful autumn colours, come as friendly woodland animals, or choose classic storybook characters like Robin Hood (forest heroes)! • Bright & Beautiful: Wear your sparkliest outfits, neon colours, or clothing that glows under UV light. • Friendly Heroes: Dress up as your favourite real-life heroes, inspiring characters, or cheerful helpers. Don't forget your light! To help us light up the night, please bring along a torch, glow sticks, a lantern, or anything else that lights up! We will be using them during the evening to create a magical atmosphere. Let’s see how bright we can make Hope City Church shine!
