During the 90-minute session, you will: • Learn the basics of Japanese calligraphy • Discover the meaning and background of Japanese characters • Practise using a traditional Japanese brush • Create your own calligraphy artwork • Learn a few simple Japanese words and expressions • Chat and connect with other participants • Enjoy a relaxed and creative community atmosphere At the end of the session, you can take your own artwork home. 🌱 Who Is It For? This workshop is open to everyone, especially: • Local residents • Older adults • Beginners • People interested in Japanese culture • Anyone looking for a relaxed and creative social activity No Japanese language or calligraphy experience is required. 🎒 What to Bring Nothing — all calligraphy materials are provided. Our aim is to create opportunities for people to discover Japanese culture through calligraphy, creativity and community. Come along, pick up a brush, and enjoy a relaxed morning of Japanese culture.
