A Keening to the tree of our beloveds who have passed, gifting offerings of nature; oats, water and messages, notes & letters. The Keen of the Three Mary's, L Caoineadh na dTri Muire will sound into the Durge for the deceased with the Gol (cry or lament). We will be welcomed to the Ritual through Shamanic drumming from Ed (Silverspringwellness) to enhance our inner journey beyond the ego, beyond the 3D into Imbas Forosnai - Inspiration, Illumination and Awe. The repetition of the drum beat from the Bodhran, a Celtic drum made of Cedar wood, will offer harmony for your energies. gentling the brainwaves to a Theta state, into a calm and dream-like state. Keening was outlawed by the church many centuries ago because of its intense power of Lament in Grieving for our beloveds who have passed. This Ritual is a reclamation of Ancient Celtic practices for Grief. Honouring our Grief can be for a person who has transitioned or our own Grief of Loss in this lifetime. There will be offerings available for the Ritual though you can bring a piece of cloth or a momento for the tree and for your memories. Grieving is a full body somatic immersion of allowing the pains and sorrows into your very being. Allowing these energies in motion into your body allows a sense of belonging to what is important to you. N.B.
