Full description from organizerShow less
A little cold water. A lot of bare bums. A good cause. Join us for Noody Dook on Sunday 25 April 2027, a morning dip raising funds for Surfers Against Sewage and celebrating the bodies that carry us through life. There’s no perfect beach body required. Come as you are, have a laugh and share a brave wee moment with folk who are up for the same adventure. Every body is welcome. We’re supporting Surfers Against Sewage because the water we swim in deserves looking after. They campaign for clean seas, healthy rivers and an end to sewage pollution; a cause close to the hearts of those of us who love a dook. This is a dip, with no distance to cover or prize for staying in longest. Water safety support will be there on the day, and everyone must follow the event briefing and instructions. Bring a towel, warm layers and something cosy for your feet afterwards. A flask is a very good shout too. Bare bums, warm hearts and cleaner water. That’s the plan.
