Thinning of the Veil - Sauna Sessions | Kinghorn Loch

Sunday 25th October As the days grow darker and we approach Samhain - a time of honouring our ancestors, and when the veil was said to be thin - we invite you to join us at The People's Sauna for a series of immersive sauna sessions. Samhain Sauna Ritual: Honouring the ones that came before us (11:00–1:00 pm) This session begins with a fire circle in the woods and a simple ritual to connect with our ancestors, followed by a one hour sauna session. Turning Inward Sauna (1:25 – 2:25 pm) This session begins with a 15-minute guided meditation, inviting an inward focus as we move into the darker half of the year. Sauna Of Release (2:50 – 3:50 pm) This session begins with a 15-minute guided meditation in letting go, aligning with nature as we shed what we no longer need. Donations: Suggested sliding scale: £10 – Standard £5 – Community/ Supported £15–£20 – Pay it forward Nobody turned away for lack of funds. What to bring: – Swimwear – 2 towels (one for drying off and one to sit on in the sauna) – Water bottle – Flip-flops or easy-to-slip-on shoes – Drinking water This is a sauna event. Use of the loch is optional and undertaken at your own risk. Getting here Kinghorn Loch If using GPS, enter “Paddleboard Fife” - this will take you to the lochside car parks. There is parking by the loch, with two overflow car parks (see maps below). Public transport: Nearest train: Kinghorn train station Nearest bus: Croft-an-Righ stop (Stagecoach 7A) Please allow around 20 minutes’ walk from both the train station and bus stop to the loch.
