Blokes Breakfast

A monthly morning for men at That Leisure Shop, with bacon baps, coffee and good company. Pubs are closing. Working lives are changing. Retirement takes away the routines that used to bring people together. And before you know it, catching up with mates becomes something you keep meaning to arrange. Sometimes, finding good company isn't as easy as it used to be. That's where Blokes Breakfast comes in. A free monthly get-together at That Leisure Shop at Chelston, where men can enjoy a free bacon bap, a brew and a good conversation. Love motorhoming or caravanning? Great. If it’s not really your thing, you’re just as welcome. There’s no set agenda for conversation. Talk motorhomes, travel, health, work, retirement, hobbies, or whatever else comes up. Sometimes, all that's needed is a place to show up. What to expect Following our first sell-out Blokes Breakfast in October, we're getting together again on Saturday 14th November at That Leisure Shop at Chelston. Grab a free hot drink when you arrive, then join Danny and Motorhome Matt for an informal talk exploring the history of motorhomes, from their early beginnings to the vehicles we know today. After the talk, it's time for bacon baps and a chance to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces and carry on the conversations. Blokes Breakfast is still taking shape, and that's part of the idea. We want the people who come along to help make it their own, helping shape future topics, guest speakers and activities. And if you missed the first one, don't worry. You don't need to know anyone or have attended before. New faces are always welcome. Booking Blokes Breakfast is completely free, but please register online so we know how many bacon baps to prepare.
