FREE Thermal Birdwatching Experience: Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre

Join Pulsar Wildlife on stop 3 of our UK wildlife tour for 2026 at Northumberland Wildlife Trust – Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre. We’ll be demonstrating how our thermal imaging devices are designed to enhance your detection capabilities during wildlife observation, bird watching, and ecological surveys. As part of this event, we’re also inviting you on a thermal guided nature walk around the reserve, so you can see for yourself how these devices work and how they can cut down on time spent searching, so you can focus on your observations! This event is FREE but ticketed and limited to 40 spaces. We require a £5 refundable deposit when reserving a ticket for this event. Please see more information below. Please note, Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre offers parking at £2 per car. Our event is completely free to attend! Although we ask for a £5 deposit, this event is completely free to attend. To help us plan effectively, reduce no-shows and ensure places don't go to waste, we ask for a £5 refundable deposit (inclusive of Eventbrite’s standard booking fees). We understand plans can change, so we've kept our refund policy simple and fair: • If you attend: You'll receive a full refund of your £5 deposit, including all booking fees. The event costs you nothing! • If you cancel at least 7 days before: You'll receive a full refund of your £5 deposit, including booking fees. • If you cancel within 7 days of the event: You'll receive your £5 deposit back, minus Eventbrite’s booking fees. • If you don't attend without cancelling: Your £5 deposit will not be refundable. Why do we ask for a deposit? We want everyone who books a place to have the opportunity to attend. A small refundable deposit helps us minimise empty spaces and make the most of our events. We know unexpected things happen! If circumstances beyond your control prevent you from attending, please get in touch. We're always happy to review exceptional situations fairly. If we cancel the event, you'll receive a full refund, including booking fees. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Eventbrite Booking Fees Our £5 refundable booking deposit includes Eventbrite's booking fees. Eventbrite's standard UK booking fee is 6.95% + £0.59 per ticket (approximately £0.94 on a £5 ticket).
