Join our charity walk from Chapelhall to Celtic Park to help us build a statue in John Clark's honour. Join us for a special charity walk from Chapelhall to Celtic Park in honour of John, helping to keep his legacy alive for generations to come. This walk is about bringing people together, from our local community to the wider Celtic family , to remember John and raise vital funds towards a lasting statue in his honour. Whether you knew John personally, share a connection to the community, or simply want to support a meaningful cause, we welcome you to take part. 🚶‍♂️ THREE LEGS – ONE SPECIAL CAUSE 💚 The walk will be split into three legs, giving everyone the opportunity to get involved in a way that suits them. You can challenge yourself by taking part in the full walk from Chapelhall to Celtic Park, or join us at one of our designated stops along the way. Whether you walk the whole distance or just one leg, every step will help us honour John and keep his legacy alive. LEG 1 — Chapelhall to Billy McNeill’s Statue, Bellshill 🕥 Start time: 9am 📏 Distance: 4 miles ⏱️ Approximate walking time: 1 hour 30 minutes LEG 2 — Billy McNeill’s Statue to Jimmy Johnstone’s Statue, Viewpark 🕥 Start time: 10:30am 📏 Distance: 1.5 miles ⏱️ Approximate walking time: 30 minutes LEG 3 — Jimmy Johnstone’s Statue to Celtic Way 🕚 Start time: 11:00am 📏 Distance: 7 miles ⏱️ Approximate walking time: 2 hours 30 minutes 🎟️ REGISTRATION: Everyone taking part must register for the event 💷 REGISTRATION FEE: £10 per person. 💚 FUNDRAISING TARGET: We would love everyone taking part to try to raise £100. Every pound raised will help bring us closer to creating a lasting tribute to John. Every step we take and every donation received will help make this vision a reality.
