AFTERGLOW 01: Aaliyah × Justin Timberlake | ReconnectLDN

Aaliyah × Justin Timberlake. Selected vinyl, live performance and a DJ-led Friday night at The Winter Hideout, Television Centre. AALIYAH × JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE Two records that looked towards the future. Friday 20 November 2026 6:00–9:00 PM Winter Hideout, Television Centre, White City Selected vinyl. Live performance. DJ. Before the future arrived, they were already there. Aaliyah’s self-titled final album and Justin Timberlake’s Justified arrived either side of a shift in how R&B and pop could sound. Aaliyah gave us “We Need a Resolution”, “Rock the Boat” and “More Than a Woman” — a darker, stranger and more spacious musical world that still feels years ahead of its time. A year later, Justified introduced Justin Timberlake as a solo artist through “Cry Me a River”, “Rock Your Body” and production shaped by some of the same forces transforming R&B and pop. AFTERGLOW 01 brings those records into the same room. Not to decide which is better. To hear what connects them. WHAT TO EXPECT Selected sides from Aaliyah and Justified set the tone before a live performance responds to the musical world of the records. From there, the DJ takes the room further into Timbaland, The Neptunes, R&B, hip-hop and the music surrounding that era. Expect: • Selected vinyl from both records • The stories and musical connections between them • Live performance • A DJ-led Afterglow close • Drinks available throughout the evening • Space to listen, talk, meet people and move This is not a sit-down album lecture or a conventional club night. No pressure to know every song. No music knowledge required. Come curious. TICKETS Single Entry — £25 Admission for one guest. Duo Entry — £45 Admission for two guests, saving £5 against two Single tickets. Duo + Electric Passion Cocktails — £65 Admission for two guests and one Electric Passion cocktail per person. IMPORTANT Aaliyah and Justin Timberlake are not appearing or performing. AFTERGLOW is a ReconnectLDN music experience built around the featured records and their wider musical worlds. ABOUT AFTERGLOW AFTERGLOW is ReconnectLDN’s winter Friday-night series. Three evenings built around records that changed how we heard R&B, soul, funk and pop. Each chapter moves through selected vinyl, storytelling and connection before the soundtrack gradually opens the room into Friday night. Intentional enough to listen. Relaxed enough to stay. Gather. Unplug. Vibe.
