Beyond The Frame - Dance Project 2026 is a collaborative, interdisciplinary dance theatre project, showcasing the 3rd Year Students. Beyond The Frame - Dance Project 2026 is a collaborative, interdisciplinary dance theatre project, showcasing the Third-year Laine Theatre Arts students in a multitude of dance disciplines. Set against the vibrant streets of Montmartre, Unframed follows Leo and Alice, two young artists whose greatest joy is creating art side by side. As Leo is drawn into a world of fame, wealth and artistic success, Alice is overlooked simply because she is a woman. Their contrasting journeys explore the tension between artistic ambition and authenticity, and the true meaning of creative success. This project explores themes of creativity, ambition, inequality, authenticity, love and artistic integrity, all told through the powerful language of movement. The project is Directed by Amanda Matea, featuring choreography by Josh Baker, Adam Denman, Regan Garcia, Jo Goodwin, Amanda Matea and Alexzandra Sarmiento.
