Dziady - a proto Slavic Feast of the Dead Ritual

A shamanic ritual to connect to and honour your Ancestors Dziady is an old Slavic Feast of the Dead celebrated to honour and connect to our Ancestors. The word itself, pronounced /ˈd͡ʑa.dɘ/, means 'old folk' or 'ancestors'. This ceremony has been held in Slavic cultures a few times a year, thus maintaining and celebrating the relationship with those that passed on. It was important, and still is, for humankind to learn from the past, from the elders, and their wisdom and bloodline so that we heal and evolve, maintain peace and connection with the natural world. We will enter a shamanic ritual to call in our Ancestors and connect with them and the wisdom of our bloodline. You will explore and deepen your relationship with your Ancestors, forgive and ask their forgiveness, make your offerings to your loved ones and establish an energetic connection with your bloodline for protection. Places are limited and you will need to prepare for this ritual so please book early. Entries close one week before 31/10 to enable enough prepartion time. Originally this event was to take place in All Saints Church Hall, however, it will now take place in a private home in Hendon. Limited concessions. Organised by Kasia Marzec, a shamanic practitioner and energy healer with Slavic roots and heart. She is offering a ritual based on a tradition of her origin and incorporating elements of her shamanic and energy healing training. Aisha Ali, a psychotherapist and energy healer will be holding the space with Kasia.
