Spice Masterclass with Mandira

Learn more about spices and how to use them to enhance Christmas leftovers. Take home a signature spice tin as part of the class. Spice once shaped empires, travelling from India to Britain across oceans, altering trade routes and finding their way into British kitchens centuries ago. Now it sits in neat little jars in modern homes, often brought out for one thing and quietly returned to the shelf. This Spice Masterclass changes that. For 30 minutes, we explore what spice actually does. • What happens when spices hit hot oil and bloom • Why timing changes flavour completely • The difference between whole and ground spices • Why blends matter and a pinch can lift far more than a curry Spices that were once valued more than gold and silver have now lost their lustre and this class will restore their confidence back and yours too. What's included: £16 per person 30-minute Spice Masterclass One signature spice tin to take home, your choice of: • Garam Masala • Mint & Magic Raita Mix • Firecracker Chilli Masala
