Our sound bath will take place in the beautiful circular Meeting Room at Hammersmith Quaker Meeting House. With its warm, wood-lined interior, peaceful atmosphere and wonderful acoustics, the room offers a particularly special setting in which to experience the resonance and vibration of crystal singing bowls. The group is intentionally limited to just 15 people, allowing the experience to remain spacious, calm and intimate. You'll be immersed in resonant tones, frequencies and vibrations of crystal singing bowls as you're guided into a meditative state of deep relaxation. This may be for you if... You've been feeling stressed, overstimulated or mentally busy. You find it difficult to truly switch off. You're craving some time and space for yourself. You're curious about meditation but find traditional meditation difficult. You're drawn to sound, vibration and energy work. You'd simply love an hour of lying somewhere warm and peaceful while beautiful sounds wash over you. No previous experience of sound baths, meditation or yoga is needed. Complete beginners are very welcome. The Session We will begin with a welcome and take some time to settle into the space. You'll lie comfortably on your yoga mat. From there, there's nothing for you to do. I'll gently guide you into relaxation before allowing the sounds and vibrations of the crystal singing bowls to wash over you. You may become deeply relaxed or enter an almost dreamlike or meditative state. You may notice different physical or emotional sensations. Your mind may become quieter. You may simply enjoy the feeling of being still. You may fall asleep. As the session comes to an end, the sound will gradually soften and you'll be given a few quiet moments to gently return before heading back to your life. What to bring Please bring: • A yoga mat • A pillow or cushion • Comfortable, warm clothing • Warm socks, if you'd like them A soft fleece blanket will be provided for you, ready for you to snuggle under during the sound bath. About Livy Livy is a qualified sound bath practitioner whose connection with the practice came from her own experience of its deeply restorative and healing qualities. Having experienced first-hand how profoundly sound and vibration can support us through periods of stress, and emotionally overwhelming and difficult experiences. Livy developed a strong belief in the potential of sound to help us reconnect with ourselves and gently support the way we hold and process experiences. Working with crystal singing bowls, Livy creates immersive soundscapes designed to encourage deep rest and offer a space away from the constant stimulation of everyday life. Arrival Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the 7:00 pm start, giving yourself plenty of time to settle in and get comfortable. The sound bath will begin promptly at 7:00 pm and finish at approximately 8:00 pm.
