Workshop | Traces Around Us: An Experimental Art Walk

（What to Expect） This experimental, site-responsive workshop invites participants to explore their surroundings through an alternative way of observing and collecting. Using kneaded rubber as an unconventional tool, participants will take a short exploratory walk around the surrounding area, paying attention to textures, surfaces, patterns and small details that might normally go unnoticed. By pressing the material against suitable surfaces, participants will collect physical traces from their encounters with the environment and transfer them onto paper along the way. Through simple printmaking and mark-making processes, these collected traces will be transformed through repetition, layering and composition, gradually building a personal visual record of the surroundings. Rather than documenting a place conventionally, the workshop encourages participants to slow down, notice differently, and experience their surroundings through touch, texture and unexpected details. The emphasis is on exploration, experimentation and discovery rather than achieving a predetermined outcome. No previous art or printmaking experience is needed. All materials will be provided, and participants will leave with their own collection of experimental prints and marks inspired by the surrounding area. About the Facilitator 關於導師｜Justina Choi（@Linearydot） Justina is a Hong Kong-born, London-based multidisciplinary artist and workshop facilitator working across drawing, printmaking, textiles and mixed media.
