Naze family fossil hunt

All you want for Christmas is... a sharks tooth!? Perhaps you'll find one on our guided fossil hunt. Come along to The Naze to discover why our cliffs are so special. See a collection of local fossils, including some huge shark teeth! Hear all about The Naze geology with our introductory talk, led by one of our knowledgeable Wilder Learning team. Next, we'll head to the beach for a group fossil hunt, where our friendly leaders will be on hand to help, guiding you with best places to look and identifying any finds. This is a family session, everyone will need a ticket. You may like to bring a bag to take your treasures home in. We'll go out whatever the weather, so please ensure you bring plenty of warm and waterproof layers, and wear footwear for a mucky clay beach, e.g. wellington boots, hiking boots or old trainers.
