A creative, restful and fun Sunday afternoon hand sewing with live harp music to nourish your mind. MUSICAL THREADS is a light and charming Sunday treat. Indulge your creative wellbeing while relaxing notes of the Harp nourish and replenish your mind. Support and guidance will be provided throughout. In this beginners workshop we bring together and celebrate creativity, music and nature. Provided with everything you need you will stitch your own colourful and unique masterpiece! Beginner ticket options are available for you to sew your own crab, a hedgehog or lavender heart. For more advanced sewers seeking a challenge tickets are available to sew a seagull or a colourful humming bird. Once the plan is explained and the foundations are set you will be encouraged to sprinkle an extra bit of magic and sparkle. Embellishments will be provided to enable you to bring your creation to life and make your design uniquely yours. Special hand drawn Calligraphy words are prepared prior to the event. Please ensure you book your Calligraphy words when selecting your ticket. The Calligraphy is designed to compliment your art work and is sure to add that extra special WOW to your final framed masterpiece! Enjoy slow stitching and creativity while the nourishing notes of the harp calm the mind. All this takes place inside the fine Victorian building of Felixstowe Town Hall, which has been chosen for its' high quality venue, comfort, ease of access for all and its' prime location on the Felixstowe sea front. Fully accessible, there is a gentle slope entrance available directly from the seafront pavement, for those whom need ground level access to enable them to join this special event. Once inside the building the lift can be used to reach the event space. Before or after the event attendees can enjoy the sea air and the many additional delights of the sea front, with an array of seaside beverages readily available. No food to be brought into the event please. Complimentary tea, coffee, fruit juice and water will be provided. Suitable for fun loving and creative minds, beginners as well as those wishing to develop their sewing skills. Where: Felixstowe Town Hall, Undercliff Road West, Felixstowe, IP11 2AG.
