Walking and Talking in Nature

Andrew will lead the group on a leisurely walk around the park and participants can have a general chat, with the opportunity to talk about their mental health and wellbeing. There will be mindfulness techniques throughout the walk, and time to speak to Andrew as a therapist and meet others too. Andrew is also a herbalist, so you can learn about the plants and nature around the area too! Anyone over the age of 18 can participate and you can just book and turn up, you don't need to be referred via our Counselling Hub. We will just ask for a few basic details on arrival. In the event of bad weather on the day of your booking, the group will meet in the Café at Hartsholme Park instead of going on the walk and we will provide a cup of tea or coffee on these occasions.
