Chester Afternoon Tea & Reading Retreat Festive Edition December 13

Gather your book-loving friends, get cosy, and escape into an unforgettable bookish afternoon of reading. Escape to quiet luxury at Crabwall Manor (You deserve it!) Crabwall Manor is a historic Cheshire hideaway that instantly feels like a deep exhale. Calm, cosy, indulgent – the perfect setting to slow down. A private room made for switching off This retreat is built around what so many of us are craving: time and space that actually belongs to you. You won’t be searching for a spare seat, competing with background noise, or trying to relax while your mind runs through the never-ending to-do list. Instead, we’ll have our own dedicated room, filled with cosy chairs and sink-in seating, so you can settle properly and stay settled — with your book, your tea, and absolutely no pressure to be “on”. An afternoon where nothing is demanded of you Bring the novel you’ve been saving for “when you have time”, and let this be the moment you finally get it. You can read for hours without interruption, enjoy the quiet atmosphere, and drift into that rare, lovely feeling of being absorbed in a story again — without checking the clock every five minutes. And because comfort is part of the experience, you’ll also enjoy a luxurious afternoon tea, with finger sandwiches, fluffy scones, sweet treats, and unlimited tea and coffee (menu subject to change). Your afternoon includes: • A private, cosy room with comfy couches reserved just for us • Uninterrupted reading time — no distractions, no guilt, no rushing • Optional, low-pressure chats with fellow book lovers • A luxurious afternoon tea with tea and coffee (menu subject to change) • A special bookish gift, just for you Whether you’re feeling burnt out, overstimulated, or simply overdue some quiet joy, this is a soft, story-filled reset.
