Your workshop ticket also includes entry to the festival, which celebrates the incredible migratory species that visit Lancashire’s wetlands throughout Autumn and Winter. During this time, Martin Mere becomes home to thousands of pink-footed geese, pintail, shoveler, gadwall, pochard, and many other bird species — creating a unique environment for wildlife observation and photography. Designed for photographers of all experience levels, this intimate 2-hour photo walk offers the opportunity to learn directly from one of the UK’s most accomplished and widely awarded wildlife photographers. As you explore the reserve, Terry will share real-time guidance on spotting photographic opportunities, refining composition, understanding wildlife behaviour, and anticipating movement in the field — helping you strengthen both your technical approach and creative eye.
