About the Speakers Will Millard is a bestselling writer, explorer and award-winning broadcaster based in South Wales. He has authored or co-authored multiple bestsellers, including the international bestseller The Way of the Hermit with Ken 'the Hermit of Treig' Smith. Will has presented seven BBC series and three standalone documentaries, winning the prestigious BAFTA Cymru Award for 'Best Presenter' for his hit BBC series Hunters of the South Seas. He is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and an Ambassador for World Fish Migration Day, Keep Wales Tidy, the Rivers Trust and the Angling Trust. Paul Naylor is a Senior Geospatial Consultant at Ordnance Survey, the UK's national mapping service, where he leads the GeoDataViz team. With nearly three decades of experience in the geospatial sector, Paul specialises in cartography, geographic data visualisation, map design, and the effective communication of spatial information. His work spans a wide range of activities, from supporting national-scale mapping products and data visualisation standards to helping customers, partners, and internal teams communicate complex geographic information more clearly and effectively. Alongside his role at Ordnance Survey, Paul is President of the British Cartographic Society (BCS), where he is a passionate advocate for cartography, professional development, and community engagement. During his presidency, he has championed initiatives such as Geoviz, expanded collaboration with partner organisations across the geospatial sector, and promoted greater participation and inclusivity within the mapping profession.
