Pastel Society Annual Exhibition 2027 | Drawn to Colour

The Pastel Society 128th Annual Exhibition, Drawn To Colour, will take place from 27 January to 13 February 2027 at Mall Galleries in London. Drawn To Colour is a celebration of colour as subject, expression and connection. The 2027 exhibition will showcase the entire spectrum, spanning black, white, and every shade in between. Discover pieces that range from bold and bright to quiet and contemplative, all created using diverse dry media - including pastel, pencil, charcoal, crayon, chalk, and more. This is a huge date in the year for Pastel and dry media in the UK, says President of the Pastel Society, Simon Hodges: "I do not believe that we will ever better the sensation we experience when creatively making our own mark with tangible materials [...] And exhibiting this work physically in one place allows members, Friends, artists, visitors, buyers, manufacturers and any like-minded individuals to meet and celebrate this. Whilst it may feel like the conclusion in a process, it is also the beginning of the next conversation."
