THE GRAND OLD ECHO + HOKUM JUKEBOX TICKETS £10(+1) ADVANCE / £12 ON THE DOOR Together, The Grand Old Echo create their affectionately named 'City-Folk' sound - witty and poignant story telling about life, death and everything in between, delivered through triple harmonies and the occasional rap verse, all laid over a variety of traditional folk instruments. Built around dual rap vocals and a driving live rhythm section, Hokum Jukebox create a banjo-driven collision of hip hop, folk, jazz and rock that feels both old-world and defiantly modern — like a speakeasy house band after too many whiskies and a lifetime of bad decisions.
