The Minds Weather

Christopher Le Brun's exhibition The Mind's Weather presents a collection of paintings that investigate the relationship between external natural phenomena and internal emotional states. The works explore how weather and atmospheric conditions serve as metaphors for psychological experience and mental landscape. The exhibition showcases Le Brun's distinctive approach to figuration and abstraction, combining gestural marks with representational elements. Through his characteristic style, the artist engages with themes of perception, memory, and the sublime in nature. Le Brun's practice over several decades has established him as a significant figure in contemporary painting. His works draw from diverse influences ranging from classical art history to modern abstraction, creating a unique visual language that bridges traditional and contemporary concerns. The exhibition runs at Lisson Gallery London from November 20, 2026 to February 13, 2027.
