TNMA: Social - 14th November

On 14th November we'll be bringing That's Not My Age to life with discussions on age, life, and style with a special line-up of guests I'm delighted to share the full details of our upcoming event, TNMA: Social. On Saturday 14th November we'll be bringing you even closer to the conversation with an exclusive get-together at Durrant's Hotel in Marylebone, London. Expect insightful discussions on age, life, and style with a stellar line-up of panellists and speakers. For this year's panel event (hosted by yours truly) we have three incredible women: award-winning photographer Wendy Carrig, author, leadership coach and positive psychologist, Dr Lucy Ryan, and founder and creative director of the fashion label Kemi Telford, Yvonne Telford. We'll be talking about ageism and visibility, navigating midlife, managing your career, self-acceptance and, of course, staying stylish. This will be followed by a splendid style presentation, with designer Justine Tabak, and Emma Sewell co-founder of the textile design studio Wallace Sewell. After a brief introduction to their successful careers in the fashion and textiles industry, the pair will share expert advice on wearing colour, how to add pizazz to any outfit and shopping more considerately. We also hope to have a small range of female-owned independent brands showcasing their collections. Our venue is the super-chic Durrant's Hotel, Marylebone, London, a beautiful retreat full of interesting artwork, Bella Freud furnishings and cosy nooks; just a stone's throw from The Wallace Collection, and the excellent shops and cafes along Marylebone High Street and Chiltern Street. The ideal base for a day out in the big smoke - and within walking distance of Bond Street, Marble Arch and Baker Street tube stations. For anyone who would like an overnight stay, the hotel is offering a 12% discount on all room types and 15% on our Suites. On the day, TNMA guests will also be offered 10% discount at Durrant's bar and restaurant, in case you'd like to to enjoy a meal or cocktail, after the social. When you arrive we'll have tea and coffee, and then end with a glass of prosecco and a chance to socialise. Guests will also receive a goodie bag.
