Choose a photo of yourself or someone you love, and Tea will show you how to recreate it using reclaimed textiles. You’ll learn how to break the portrait into simple shapes, choose your fabrics, layer your composition and add the details that bring it to life. Experiment with different colours, patterns and textures while discovering a creative new way to use materials that might otherwise go to waste. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own finished fabric portrait to take home. No sewing, art or upcycling experience needed.
