Full description from organizer

I’d absolutely love to share this special evening of candlelight and sound inside the beautiful St Luke’s church This truly stunning venue is the perfect space for a deeply relaxing and restorative soundbath experience. To make the experience even more special, this soundbath will be a small , intimate gathering, to allow for a more personal and meaningful experience. I’ve poured my heart and soul into creating a very special evening and soundbath experience. You’ll get to wrap yourself up in a cosy sherpa blanket, whilst lying on a soft fur rug, as you experience a gentle singing bowl soundbath. The church will be gently illuminated by candles, lanterns and fairy lights to help create a deeply relaxing atmosphere. This sound journey is a chance for you to unplug from daily life, to switch off, process, release, rebalance, or drift off to sleep. Sometimes the best thing we can do is simply, rest and do nothing. When your body enters a restful state you can trust that it will do exactly what it needs to do. THE SOUND JOURNEY: Everyone will get to experience having a drum and a sonic chime played over them at the start of the soundbath. The soundbath will then continue with a soft, deep frequency, crystal singing bowl set. The church’s beautiful acoustics will naturally enhance the whole soundbath experience as the sounds of the crystal bowls vibrate and linger in the space, creating a longer decay which slowly fades into stillness. My soundbath set includes deep, and less common tones that help with grounding. You’ll also hear the gentle sounds of Koshi wind chimes and the soothing sounds of the sea created by seed chimes. All instruments work harmoniously to help move the stuck energy out of your body. A soundbath uses the vibration and tones of sound to shift the energy within us and help guide the brain from a more active state into a deeper, relaxing brain state, whilst calming our nervous system. HISTORY: Sound baths may seem like a new concept, but people have been using sound for centuries to relax, heal, and lift their spirit. NO EXPECTATIONS: There are no expectations, no judgements, no pretences, this is just a peaceful space for you to unwind and receive exactly what you need. ABOUT MY SOUNDBATHS: I have spent years studying the 'art of sound' to understand how sound can create harmony or dissonance within us. My soundbaths are intentionally composed of notes and sequences that create harmony and bring a lovely sense of wellbeing and balance. VISUALS: If you’d like a little idea of what to expect, take a look at my profile, where you can view photos from the monthly soundbaths I hold in another church. The set up will be very similar 💖 IG: https://www.instagram.com/kirsty_soundandheart?vrfl=MWhwYWtnYzBvb2xhbA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr FB: https://www.facebook.com/share/1DAhsg7pxg/?mibextid=wwXIfr EVERYONE IS WELCOME: No prior experience is required for a soundbath and is open to all above the age of 18, all genders and backgrounds welcome. COSY KIT: I’ve tried to think of everything. Your comfort and warmth are taken care of. Your autumn & winter Soundbath experiences now include a cosy kit to help keep you warm and snug throughout your soundbath, this includes: • a soft, full, length fur rug • a fluffy, sherpa blanket • a silk eye mask • a hand warmer. WHAT SHOULD I BRING? This is your experience, so bring anything that will make you feel comfortable when lying down, you'll relax much easier if you're comfortable. If it's a quilt and fluffy socks, bring them. If you'd like to, you could bring any, or all of the following. • Extra padding to lay on • Something to lie your head on • Water • Fluffy socks LOCATION: St Luke’s Church is located in Clay Hill, on the northern edge of Enfield, London. It is at the corner of Phipps Hatch Lane, opposite Hillyfields Park. Public transport, it is accessible via buses 191 and W8 (to Lancaster Road) or W10 (to Clay Hill and up Browning Road). PARKING: There is free parking outside the church and in some of the surrounding residential roads. PLEASE ARRIVE: 5 mins before to get settled so that you are already to start at 7pm. The Church doors will open at 6.55pm but not before as I will be setting up. ON ARRIVAL: You’ll have a few minutes to settle in and create your cosy little nest. Once everyone is ready, you’ll be invited to lie down, (if thats comfortable for you) and I will then play a 50 minute therapeutic sound session. AT THE END: Once the Soundbath has concluded there will be a little time to gently come back around before you leave. There’ll also be a piece of dark chocolate and some raspberries to help you slowly reawaken ☺️ ABOUT ME: I’m a friendly introvert who naturally enjoys nurturing others. Helping someone move from a place of tension to a place of ease and upliftment is the greatest gift I could ask for. I attended my first sound bath in 2019 and left feeling amazing, so amazing that I knew sound journeys had to become a part of my life. 7 years on and 3 training certifications later, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding how notes and frequencies can be blended to create harmony or dissonance in the body. As such, I’ve created a sound bath using only harmonious sequences. CONTACT: Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. 077363 12336. Much love, Kirsty x Proudly written by me and not AI 😂 ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS? Yes there are, please note the following and consult a qualified healthcare professional before attending if you have any medical concerns. People with pacemakers, first trimester of pregnancy, artificial heart valves, some metal implants, epilepsy, severe mental health conditions. Although tinnitus isnt an official contraindication in my experience this can improve or worsen the condition. (Sound can resonate the metal and also change the rhythm of a pacemaker). Misophonia or sound sensitivity is not an official contraindication but it may be worth considering due to some noises that can be present during a soundbath, please reach out if you’d like to chat. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
