Channel your Practical Magic era: a witchy walk, warm drinks, cosy walk and sketch in Abney Park to connect with the season and each other. Cemetery Walk & Sketch: Halloween Edition 🎃🔮💜✨🌙 Looking for a fun, reflective, girly, and witchy Halloween afternoon? This is it! 🍂 We'll start with a hot drink at Abney Park Cafe, settling in together before we head out. 🕯️ Our Founder Essi opens with Pagan teachings of Samhain, the ancient festival marking the end of harvest and the descent into darker months, when the boundary between the living and the dead is said to grow thin. 🍁 We'll explore what this means for us today: honouring the changing season, and what it stirs in us as the earth turns inward. 🌫️ We will do a mindful walk and journal through Abney Park Cemetery, connecting to these themes as we move slowly among the tombstones and trees. ✏️ Alex will guide us to a sketching exercise — nature, gravestones, whatever catches your eye — a chance to slow down and notice. Dress code: bring your inner Practical Magic witchyness and Gilmore Girls cosiness 🍁🍂 Bring your sketchbook! Be rain ready and layer up!
