Occult Pop by Jason Atomic

An exploration of how pop culture and the occult shape each other, featuring research insights and untold stories behind the book. Jason Atomic is a writer/artist with a lifelong interest in the occult and pop culture. Since 2013 he has published the occult themed underground comics and zines under the Satanic Mojo banner and is the co-founder of London’s premier dark arts and crafts fair the Satanic Flea Market, where he can also be found trading in second hand comics and books from his collection. He designed the Alexandrian Witchcraft logo for Maxine Sanders who also invited him to illustrate The Alex Sanders Lectures, his work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, The Satanic Temple’s Salem Gallery, The Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick and The Museum of The Final Judgement in Rome. His new book “Occult Pop” is a fully illustrated 'graphic compendium of magic’ which examines the ways that occult and pop culture have influenced each other over the years. It is due out from Aeon publishing in November. A great lover of animals, when not immersed in counterculture and comix he volunteers at the Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue and Oxford City Farm.
