By the time we meet Andy Burnham would have been in power for 99 days and nights. Has he helped save a nation on the brink of fascism and a Labour Party on the brink of irrelevance? Or are we staring down the inevitable barrel of Starmer 2.0? EUGENICS: THE RETURN OF SCIENTIFIC RACISM “Race science”. “Scientific racism”. “Racial eugenics”. “Racial improvement”. "Mejorar la raza”. From phrenology to drapetomania (otherwise known as "runaway slave syndrome") and everything in between, white supremacy has long embraced various iterations of pseudoscience to justify or excuse crimes and beliefs. Ideas that were until quite recently considered junk science are now finding mainstream acceptability and an audience once again. And, for Black people in particular, the stakes are as deadly as they ever were. We will take a deep dive into the new race science movement. Why it has re-emerged. How it is funded.
