Women's Voices Exhibition Private View

Artist & Creative Director Decca Faire explores Women's Voices in the London Running scene with Molly Bryan Co-Founder of Runlimited Join us for an evening celebrating Women's Voices and all the wonderful people who made this project happen. Decca and Molly will be giving a talk at 7.30 and sharing how the project came to life, we will also be hearing from a number of the contributors about what running means to them. There will be an opportunity to hear from the audience to share your experience in running. Origin Coffee are kindly supporting this event and will be offering drinks on the night, we will be handing out drinks tokens upon arrival. We have included a small event fee which greatly supports exhibition costs, 10% of which will go to the Women and Girls Network, a black feminist charity supporting survivors of gender based violence. Men are hugely welcome to attend and we encourge their participation in conversation about inclusivity in running. About Women’s Voices Women’s Voices aims to create visibility for experiences that are often underrepresented within the running industry. By documenting women from diverse ages, backgrounds and running disciplines, the project explores what running means beyond performance and competition. The project seeks to strengthen community, inspire participation and contribute to conversations around gender, identity, belonging and access within running. Women’s Voices sits at the intersection of art, storytelling and sport, using photography and lived experiences to explore women’s lives, ambitions, thoughts and feelings around running. In taking space and increasing visibility, we can make positive change for women and work to greater equality within sport and beyond.
