Do you like Dungeons & Dragons but wished it was a lot more deadly and featured terrifying alien abominations? Do mechanics where your main source of healing has a chance to instantly kill you sound like fun? Then Mothership might just be the perfect game for you! Mothership is the award-winning sci-fi horror RPG where you and your crew try to survive in the most inhospitable environment in the universe: outer space! Come along to this introductory session, perfect for those new to Mothership. The first half hour of the session will be dedicated to learning Mothership, so players who already know what they're doing can feel free to arrive at 7pm instead. What you'll get: A crash course in Mothership, covering what it is, making a character and how to play. A play through of an introductory one shot, chosen to be perfect for a first taste of Mothership. All necessary materials will be provided. All you need to do is be prepared to learn, play, and come to terms with the fact that you never really stood a chance, but that's part of the fun! Players who have attended our previous Mothership event are welcome to return, this is a completely new module! Spaces are limited to keep play under control and ensure room for all taking part, so booking in advance is strongly recommended. Ages 18+ only.
