Designed with a classic, comfortable fit, this autumn-ready skirt is an ideal project for beginners looking to build foundational sewing skills or intermediate crafters seeking a fun seasonal project. We will supply a beautiful red-and-blue checkedred-and-blue checked woven fabric for all attendees. Prefer a custom look? You are welcome to bring 2 meters of your own chosen fabric instead! What You Will Learn • Draft & Cut: Take accurate body measurements and draft a reusable A-line skirt pattern tailored to your fit. • Fabric Alignment: Understand fabric grain, pattern matching (especially for checks and plaids), and efficient layout using fold techniques. • Garment Construction: Learn practical assembly techniques and construct a comfortable, clean elastic waistband. • Finishing Touches: Master seam-finishing methods, clean hemming, and custom styling details.
