Inside the writers' room: Motherland and Amandaland

UEA joins Norfolk Screen for a special co-lab with the creators of Motherland and Amandaland, plus Hollywood star Peter Serafinowicz. Co-creators and writers of BAFTA-winning BBC sitcoms Motherland and Amandaland, Barunka O’Shaughnessy and Helen Serafinowicz join UEA for this special ‘co-lab’ with Norfolk Screen to share their insight into being the creative minds behind the hilarious series that speak about the chaos and competitive realities of middle-class parenting and Alpha-mums at the school gates. Fan favourite and Hollywood star Peter Serafinowicz (Shaun of the Dead, Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy) rounds off the line-up to shed light on being behind one of the standout characters from season one of Amandaland, Johannes. In partnership with Norfolk Screen this event is chaired by Arts Editor Nina Nannar.
