Leading People Through AI Change: CAKE People Development

A practical morning on leading people through AI change, with CAKE and Osiris IT, plus the launch of two new AI leadership programmes. AI is bringing new possibilities to our workplaces. It also raises questions for the people leading change. How do we build trust, involve our teams and help people feel ready? Where can AI make a useful difference? And what do leaders need to consider before introducing it? Join Michael Casanova and Margaret Burnside from CAKE People Development for a practical learning morning exploring the human side of AI change. Through activities and discussion, we’ll look at how leaders can support their people, make thoughtful decisions and turn ideas into action. There will be opportunities to share experiences, ask questions and identify something useful to take back to your organisation. Our friends and partners at Osiris IT, a Norwich-based technology business working in cyber security and AI consultancy, will also join us. Their guest session will explore the data, security and technology questions leaders should consider when introducing AI. What you can expect • Practical activities exploring communication, trust and change. • Discussion about how people and AI can work together. • Ideas for involving and supporting your team. • A guest session from Osiris IT on data, security and technology. • An introduction to CAKE’s two new AI leadership programmes. • Time to meet other leaders and share questions and experiences. Who is it for? Business owners, managers, senior leaders and HR and L&D professionals who are thinking about what AI means for their organisation and its people. You don’t need to be an AI expert. Come with your questions and a willingness to get involved. Introducing Lead AI The morning also marks the launch of two new CAKE programmes leading to Chartered Management Institute qualifications: Lead AI: Transformation - Level 5 For managers leading AI change with their teams, building trust, supporting people and putting plans into practice. Lead AI: Strategy - Level 7 For senior leaders shaping organisational direction, assessing readiness and leading strategic AI change.
