NWT Walk on the Wild Side 2026: Wild Explorer Route (5km)

As part of our centenary celebrations, we're inviting you to experience nature together while raising vital funds to help protect Norfolk's wildlife and wild places for the next 100 years. Whether you're walking with family, friends or on your own, the Wild Explorer Route offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, discover wildlife and make a real difference for nature. The Wild Explorer Route Our 5km route is perfect for families, younger walkers and anyone looking for a gentle walk through nature. Take your time to enjoy the sights and sounds of Broadland Country Park, look out for wildlife along the way and celebrate your achievement at the finish line. Your ticket includes • Entry to the Wild Explorer Route • A commemorative Walk on the Wild Side 2026 medal • Wildlife-themed activities • Light refreshments • Fundraising support and resources Optional event T-shirts will also be available. Raise funds for Norfolk's wildlife Your registration fee helps cover the cost of running the event, but it's the sponsorship you raise that makes the biggest difference. Every pound raised will help Norfolk Wildlife Trust protect wildlife, restore habitats and inspire more people to connect with nature. You can fundraise in whatever way suits you best, whether that's through sponsorship forms, an online fundraising page such as JustGiving or your own fundraising ideas.
