A compass spinning blend of grandeur and grime, his sound brings to mind those birds that mimic car alarms. As bassist in Apologies, I Have None he’s always called himself a Londoner, but James has also fallen hard for Norwich. Since moving back to the Fine City, he’s been writing new material for an upcoming solo release - his first since 2022’s This Be The Mannekensvere.
