Get to Know Your Sewing Machine (Sustainable Fashion Week at Makespace)

This session teaches sewing machine basics from fashion professionals.A drop in workshop for anyone who owns a sewing machine but feels daunted about using it. Bring your own machine in for help and advice with any issues. For those who want to sew but don't yet have a machine, we can guide you through getting started on one of our domestic sewing machines and answer any questions you may have. Complete beginners can learn basic sewing machine skills, whereas novice users can come with any questions or issues. You'll leave with the confidence to take on repairs or start sewing basic patterns.
