OX1 x MunOx – Friction Hackathon

💻 Join us for the Zero Friction Hackathon, in collaboration with OX1 and MunOx, and sponsored by Lovable, in Oxford this November. Limited spots, so apply early. The world runs on friction. The form that only exists as a PDF. The three websites you need to check one opening time. The queue, the sign-up sheet, the thing everyone complains about and nobody fixes. On the 21st, from 12 to 6 at The Oxford Edge, you will have to fix that. 🎉 Zero Friction is a six-hour hackathon co-hosted by OX1 and MunOx. You find one piece of everyday friction, and you build something that removes it. A real, working, clickable thing you can send to a friend by the end of the day. For free. And most importantly: 👉 You do not need to know how to code. We'll be building with Lovable, an AI tool that turns plain English into working software, and we'll teach you everything you need on the day. If you can describe a problem, you can build the solution. This event is designed from the ground up for complete beginners, with help on hand all day so nobody gets stuck. No experience. No team required. No idea needed in advance. Just bring a laptop and one thing that annoys you. ⚡ Spots are limited. We're keeping this small so everyone gets proper support — grab yours before they're gone. Come with a complaint. Leave with a product.
