An Fos Vineyard Open Day

An Fos, meaning "the wall" in Cornish, is the name of our small, community supported vineyard. As a group of community members, we volunteer time and contribute an annual subscription to help run the vineyard, carrying out seasonal tasks from winter pruning right through to the harvest. In return, we receive a share of the wine produced from our grapes. What to expect Join us on our open day to find out more about An Fos Vineyard. We will be running two guided walks, the first starting at 11:00 and the second starting at 13:30. Each session will include: • Gathering at Mill Lane Acres for an introductory talk • Guided walk around An Fos Vineyard. We have two fields of vines, these are approximately a 5 minute walk uphill from the car park over uneven ground • Complimentary sample of our wine with light refreshments • A chance to chat with members of our vineyard community and to sign up if you're interested in becoming a member yourself • If you are joining us for the first session, feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy in the vineyard after the tour Everyone is welcome! Please note that children must stay with an adult throughout the day. Sorry, please do not bring dogs along for this visit. Free entry, but booking is essential. Car parking spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Good to know • Book your free ticket to come and join us at the vineyard from 11:00 to 13:00 or from 13:30 to 15:30. • Car parking must be booked in advance. Access to the vineyard is along a single track country lane, with no on-road parking. We have a limited number of spaces for parking at the site which can be booked for free using the "Reserve a spot" button below. • Access to An Fos Vineyard involves around a 5 minute walk, which is uphill and over uneven ground. • A composting toilet is available near the meeting point where we'll set off from, which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the vineyard. • Please wear comfortable shoes as the tour will involve walking over hilly, uneven ground. We are planning for the vineyard walk to go ahead come rain or shine so please dress for the weather.
